Get your Fashion Fix at Shannon SkyCourt

So Shannon may be a small town but what we do have is loads of options fashion wise, for both occasion and day wear, accessories and fitness wear. All of the above was showcased on Thursday the 28th of April, in 3 different locations, at 3 different times in SkyCourt Shannon…no easy task by any standards! They pulled it off with ease though and the Celia Holman Lee Models were the icing on the cake. They were so graceful and all the moving from one location to another did not knock a stir out of them. Media Photography was in attendance to take shots and he has kindly agreed for me to use his images in this piece. I mean who wants to see my shaky shots when you can see them from a pro.

The shops that took part were Sash Clothing, Lifestyle Sports, Gleeson Jewelers, Pulse Accessories and Marcos Shoes. All clothing featured in this piece are from Sash Clothing. If you can’t get into them, checkout the website www.sashonline.net

The Fashion Shows

Insomnia

The first location was Insomnia Coffee which is a relatively new addition to Shannon SkyCourt Centre. So while people enjoyed their coffee/tea they were able to feast on all the clothing, accessories and footwear that the center has to offer.

Look 1 - Insomnia

Look 1 – A beautiful Cream Dress with Pink Flowers €45. This is a bodycon style with a square cut at the neck and a cut out piece at the back and goes up to a size 16. This style of dress is ideal for those with a hourglass shape (hips and chest the same width and a narrow waist).  You could wear this for a communion/summer wedding or even a trip to the races!

Look 2 - Insomnia

Look 2 – A White Flower Crop top (€35 and up to size 16) and a feminine and flirty Navy Tulle Skirt (€75 and up to size large). This is perfect for pear shapes like myself! Those larger hips are concealed by the A line style of the skirt. It also works well for Apple and hourglass shapes.

The accessories for look 2 were courtesy of Pulse Accessories and the descriptions and prices are below. At the moment Pulse accessories are not available to buy online but checkout their Facebook page HERE for the their other location.

Zest Bistro

Next location was Zest Bistro where I have gone for dinner many a time and have never been disappointed! There was a full house for this show and how the Zest Bistro staff coped I will never know. If you are out Shannon way, this is the place to come for lunch or dinner. You can check out there menu HERE

Look 1 - Zest Bistro

Look 1 – Bardot Bodysuit (€35 up to size 12) and White Skinny Trouser (€39.95 up to size 16) This was my favorite look for a smart casual outfit. I would wear this for a day event with the girls. It is also perfect if you need a transitional outfit for a night look! Change into killer pair of shoes (sliver/black would work), a choker (yes they are back) and a blinged up clutch bag. I loved this top so much I bought it for myself! Its one of those shapes that suits all body types, it evens outs pear shapes, gives columns an illusion of shape and as it works for both small/larger breasted women it suits the apple and hourglass. We all need this type of neckline in our wardrobes!

Look 2 - Zest Bistro

Look 2 – A gorgeous Yellow Prom Dress with a Pleather Obi Belt (€90 Sm to Lrg). This dress is just so pretty in the flesh, perfect for the races or a summer wedding. Again this style works well for pear shapes but it would also give columns definition with the belt. All the accessories for this look, also came from Pulse.

All shoes were from Marco’s Shoe’s, who stock a great selection of shoes such as Ecco, Patricia Miller and Heavenly feet. Again this shop is a great place to get a pair of comfortable and stylish shoes at reasonable prices. They are not online but if you are in the area make sure you pop in to have a look.

The 3pm show then moved upstairs to the Food Court, which host’s Apache Pizza, Panda brothers and Nosh + Coffee. As you can see we are not short of places to get a drink or something to eat in Shannon!

Look 1 - Food Court

Look 1 – This Blush sheer arm Blazer (€60 size Sm to Lrg) is a gorgeous colour and the back details is really beautiful and unusual. Click on the item title to bring you to the website for more pictures (the same goes for the other looks). This is perfect to dress up a pair of jeans or to wear over a sleeveless white dress.

Look 2 - Food Court

Look 2 – I love this Black long sleeve cross over bodysuit (€40 size Sm to Lrg) again perfect paired with a skirt like above or with a pair of skinny’s and killer heels. The necklace is a piece from Gleeson Jewelers.

Look 1 was accessorized by Pulse (see below)

So I hope you enjoyed my synopses of the day and I hope it encourages you to come and visit SkyCourt if you are in the vicinity as there is a lot to offer from food to fashion. So instead of driving by the next time you are going to airport or returning home from work, why don’t you pop in and have a look!
