So I am delighted to share with you, my first ever fashion shoot highlighting the latest Summer pieces from Penney’s. I was unsure about posting this shoot, as I struggle looking at myself in photo’s. I have always been very self critical of my looks and how I hold myself but I knew this needed to be addressed so that I could continue to grow in confidence and accept me for me.
The purpose of the shoot initially was to get a headshot I could use for the blog, however, I thought if I am doing this I am going all out. It was a very natural shoot with only the last outfit being somewhat posed. All the photo’s were left as untouched as possible, the point being that I am a regular woman not a gorgeous 5’11 model!
Regardless of my insecurities, the piece was always going to be posted. The work, time and encouragement put in by Caoilfhionn and Sarah was amazing, so after all that, how could I not post! In addition to the above, it’s an important step in my year of “putting it out there”.
