I decided to compile my top makeup products under €15 as I don’t always write a full review on products. I thought this would be the perfect way to highlight what I am loving at the moment and those that are kind to your wallet.
On a side note, would you prefer to see shorter reviews? I know I generally write very elaborate posts lol so if you prefer a few more micro blogs; Let me know!
Lets get the show on the road and get talking about my top makeup products under €15. Please note some products I received are PR Samples (they will have an * beside them).
Top Makeup Products Under €15
Maybelline Colour Tattoo – €5.99
I picked 2 of these up recently enough in my local Superdrug. There was an offer on at the time and they had the widest selection. I also found them to be cheaper outside of the offer than anywhere else. I have to say I have fallen in love with using them. At the moment they are used as a base for my eyeshadow looks or just as a swipe and blend over my eyeballs if I am in a rush. This is only down to the fact I have very neutral colours but I plan to purchase some more in brighter colours.
I have two matt shades Creamy Beige and Crème de Rose. I am more drawn to the crème de rose as it is closer to my skin tone then the beige. The creamy beige I use mostly under other eye shadow looks.
They are meant to be a dupe for the MAC paint pots. I can’t speak for this as I never used them myself!
I don’t use a primer underneath, I did not feel like it was needed. The positives; it’s easy to use, stays in place all day and does not crease. The negatives; it can be a bit dry making it hard to blend.
Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours the Brave Palette – €14.00
This palette is the reason I fell in love with Makeup Revolution. No list would be complete without it in my opinion (if you haven’t read my review yet you can HERE).
This palette has the perfect mix of colours, it caters towards everyone. You have mates, shimmers and baked shadows in colours ranging from neutral to green, blue and pink. Even though I have way too many eyeshadow palettes, I still regularly reach for this palette.
WetnWild ColorIcon Blush – €3.99
I love so many products from Wetnwild and they are so super affordable and easy to pick up. I find a lot of the budget friendly brands can be quite hard to get locally and you end having to purchase online. This is why I have so much WetnWild in my makeup collection. It was hard to pick just one but I finally went with the Coloricon Blush.
The colour payoff from these blushes for the price tag are amazing. It’s so amazing, you need to careful you don’t add too much! It blends so nicely and does not feel or look chalky. I would urge you to pick one up while your shopping in your local Dunnes Stores.
This is the Apricot in the middle which I just picked up but I have 2 other colours that I have used regularly.
Maybelline Master Ink Eyeliner – €6.99
I had original saw this in a random YouTube tutorial I watched. I can’t even remember who it was; but they sold this eyeliner to me. I was not disappointed. It comes in two finishes Matt or satin. I always go for a matt liner so I can’t speak for the satin finishes.
The matt is a deep black , glides on quite easily and stays put for the day. I reach for this all the time for my day makeup routine. I am nearly out and I am planning on purchasing more. I also purchased the white on but this ended up in my most disappointing buys which you can read HERE.
L’Oréal Infallible Setting Spray – €9.95
I bought this setting spray recently enough and I don’t have a bad word to say about it to be honest. I always buy any L’Oréal items when Boots do their but two for €15 or whatever it is lol. It’s the best deal by far!
So I picked this up with the disaster that was the Infallible Total Cover foundation (you can read about that HERE) so at least this made up for it. I have used it everyday for 3 weeks and it has kept my makeup looking flawless. Even though I am dehydrated at the minute this still causes my t-zone to produce an unreal amount of oil. This setting spray is able to deal with it and does not feel sticky on the skin.
You just need to make sure you give it a good shake before use.
Catrice HD Liquid Foundation – €7.95
I still reach for this foundation all the time for day wear. The review I did last year is one of my most viewed posts (you can read it HERE) I still love it; I do need to use a hydrating primer underneath at the moment.
The shade range is small but hopefully you can find one to suit your skin colour.
Inglot Gel Liner – €15
Now this baby is pulled out for big nights out or long day events. You have to work quick and I would advise investing in some duraline as it does go hard making it difficult to work with. That said it is by far the best gel liner I have ever used. Once its on, it’s not moving!
You will understand if you use it, I mean getting it off can be fun at the end of the night. An oil based eye makeup remover is the best to use when using this liner.
KISS NY PRO Dead Sexy Lashes – €11.95*
I was sent out a few different products to try from the KISS NY PRO that recently launched in Ireland. This mascara I reach for on a daily basis. I love the bottom lash wand and overall if feels light on the lashes and does not drag them down. It does not flake and in my opinion is the perfect mascara for day wear.
It does not take much to remove it either so it is saving my poor sparse eyelashes after the disaster of the two weeks lashes I got last November. My poor lashes are still recovering!
Overall I am really liking this brand and I am loving what is coming down the line. I am going to write a full review on this soon so keep an eye out!
Essence Make Me Brow – €3.00
This is one of them products I picked up as I was in Penneys sometime last year. I had no reason to purchase, I already had a Brow mascara as I call it, but I bought it anyway! I have used higher end brow products and I continue to go back to this one.
It is the perfect shade for my brows. I find a lot of the brown eye brow products tend to have a redness to it; that I personally do not like. This one doesn’t and it fills in my brow so nicely. I have fairly decent eyebrows so I can get away with just using this on my brows for a day look.
NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils – €7.50
I only have two of these baby’s at the minute but I am so going to purchase more of them. I presently have Milk and Black Bean and I generally use them under eye shadows to make the colours pop that bit more. Like the Maybelline colour tattoo I would say these are a dream to use when your in a hurry and want a paired back eye look.
There are some amount of colours in this range from mattes to shimmers. You can also use them as eyeliner but they are quite thick. I generally use a eye liner brush and pick up some of the on that and apply. These are a great addition to your makeup bag.
Flormar Anti Blemish Foundation – €11.95
I bought this only a few weeks ago and I love it. It gives medium to full coverage and feels really light on the skin. Its oil free and is not too thick. It lasts once set and it did not break me out. I am not sure what makes it anti blemish as salicylic acid is normally an ingredient and I cannot find this on the list of the ingredients.
That said it has worked so far for me to date so I am happy to keep using it lol. Just note that this is a limited edition which I only found out about. I am not sure why a foundation is part of a limited edition collection but there you go!
Isadora Ultra Matt Liquid Lipstick – €12.95*
I was sent out an Isadora matt lipsticks to try a couple of weeks and I have used it nearly every day since then. except for when it fell out of my bag and I couldn’t find it! Crisis averted, I found it underneath my car seat lol. I have been using the vintage pink and there are two other shades in the range…. I ran out to my local S as I knew they would stock them and I was devastated to see they were already gone.
I have a love/hate relationship with matt lipsticks. I love wearing them but they hate my dry lips! No matter how I prep my lips, I just find matt lipsticks dry, crack and peel off my lips after a couple of hours. I generally only use them now for night out. This lipstick ticks all the boxes for me, nice colour payoff, last a decent amount of time, does not crumble and I can still my feel my lips!
It’s a Wrap
So that’s a wrap on my top makeup products for under €15. Do you agree? Should there be a particular product in there that is missing?
Also please et me know if you would like to see more micro blogs on the page or will I stick to my very in dept posts lol
Until next time
